Explanations and location of codes in 3 Line Claims: (If you don't
understand this reference, please sign up for TRAC training!)
Type: Refers to the kind of debt; this notation is found, in the
middle of the second line of each creditor, after TYPE
Usual Level: This number tells the computer the order in which
claims should be disbursed upon; a 10, for example, will receive money before a 12; a 98
or 99 will not receive money from the Trustee. This notation is found on the second line
after the claim number.
Usual Class: This refers to the class of creditors listed in the
Model Plan.
Schedule: This refers to Schedules A through J of the case.
A Specific type is uniformly assigned to each creditor by the
Trustee's office depending upon which kind of creditor it is. The class and schedule
for each creditor is determined by how the debtor attorney classifies each creditor
when developing the plan and schedules, but may be altered upon entering a proof of claim
into the computer, depending on claim and plan language. The disbursement level is
assigned pursuant to the terms of the plan.
